Message Here is one of his replies. See how he discribed the paint job. Never mentioned how crap it looks.

Hi, let me try this again, it keeps rejecting the email due to size
lol.

First, the only way i'll end the auction early is for $12,500. Thats
what i'm hoping to bring from the auction and with about 3 days
remaining and 30+ watchers, i expect it to climb in the last few hours.
If you do in fact decide you want to end the auction early, i will need
the $1,000 deposit before i end the auction. I know if you would fly
down here, that would make you a very serious buyer but with ebay
costing money and my time frame to sell, i want to lock it in. I'm sure
you understand but just wanted to make sure we are on the same page.
NADA is about $13,000 and with the alarm, stereo, new motor, new paint,
i dont see $12,500 being unreasonable either.

Ok now moving on with more pictures and stuff....

I have some other pictures at work i took a few days ago in the
morning.
The car had some dew on it but i took some other shots a few minutes
ago
for another interested bidder. I will attach those at the end.

I'm the 2nd owner of the car and I purchased it back in May of 2003. An
older woman owned it before me. I have never been in a wreck in it but
I
can't say for the previous owner as i am unaware of anything.

Paint work: Yes, the car was repainted recently. It is the Factory
color
with clear coat on top. The previous owner spilled gas all over the car
when trying to fill it, and that just made the driver side stand out
like a sore thumb. The hood was previously very faded and the doors had
small dings in them from shopping carts where ever she lived. That was
all fixed last month when it was painted. I painted it for pure
purposes
of selling. I knew it wouldn't fetch much with it in that current
condition. It looks awesome! The guy who painted it, paints for a
living
a Honda Plant locally here in Alabama, car looks fantastic man!

Motor: The motor was rebuilt because it had leaking oil pan gasket and
we thought a blown Head gasket. The motor had 128,800 miles on it when
we pulled it out. We replaced those gaskets and had the cylinders re
honed and put back together. Car runs terrific. I drove it home from
about 2hrs away in stop and go traffic and it never got hot, didn't
lose
any oil, didn't smoke at red lights. It just ran great. That's about
sums it up. No oil in the driveway from where it sits or anything like
that. The factory boost gauge in the car has stopped working. The only
reason I know its making about ~7psi is my friend hooked up an
aftermarket gauge when we put the motor in just to make sure it wasn't
boosting dangerously. Then we seen 7psi and took the gauge back off. It
has a new timing belt, water pump and all the "60k kit" stuff in it.
It's good for another 60,000 miles. Car cranks right up on a cold
morning. It's a very peppy car and is lots of fun and a chick magnet!
Take the T-Tops out during a nice day and EVERYONE is staring at the
car.
